This post was fun! After racking my brain all day about a potential photo for the curly prompt, I admitted defeat and clicked a picture of the wine corkscrew opener. Just as I was about to post the picture, I decided to look through the picture gallery one last time and see what I found!
I went to a wine and paint class on Friday night, and this is what we painted! This was one of the very rare quick decisions I made – I saw a Groupon for this place last week, looked at their painting calendar, emailed them about this particular class and made a reservation, bought the Groupon, and created a Meetup for it – all within a few hours. Normally, I would take several days to do this – go back and forth trying to decide if I like the painting enough, if I want to buy the Groupon, if I have the time for this, if I want to ask a certain friend or go with Meetup and so on and so forth.. You get the idea right! But this time, it was different, maybe it was because I instantly loved the painting! Have I told you about my love for Paris and for the Eiffel tower? No, I have never been there, but I’m in love with the idea of Paris! I have a picture of the Eiffel on my wall, I have a storage box that says Paris, and even the current wallpaper on my phone is of the Eiffel tower! I sometimes tell sis1 that I think Paris will be a disappointment when I actually visit because I have so many expectations. But who cares! For now, I have my Eiffel tower, and I have a feeling that I’m going to make this trip very soon!
This was posted as a part of the July 2014 photo a day challenge. Today’s prompt is curly – I believe the curly squiggles in the Eiffel tower count as ‘curly’!
